About Gemtree

We are a friendly caravan park situated in Central Australia. With 75 sites and 15 cabins/rooms, swimming pool and roadhouse facilities. All via 140 kms of bitumen road from Alice Springs.

Job description

We are a friendly team here at Gemtree, looking for two (2)  ‘all-rounder’ workers for the current season, starting in March. Couples and singles are both welcome to apply. You will need to have your own caravan or motorhome however, we do have limited staff accommodation if required.

While experience is preferred, training can be provided, and a friendly, hard working disposition is required as you will be dealing with travellers on a daily basis.

The roles cover tour-guiding, general yard work (handyman jobs, mowing, maintenance, landscaping, site runs), shop (till and short order cook), reception and some housekeeping.

While we require people who are not afraid of hard work, who like meeting people and who don’t mind thinking on their feet.

Both positions are for immediate start and ending approximately at the end of September 2023. We pay award wages and employment is on a casual basis.

Licence/Certification:

  • Open Drivers Licence (Required)
  • Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) suitable for the NT (Desirable)
